Need a new website?
This page is a working example of one. It is a website built as a film: the copy is not laid over the picture, it is rendered into the picture, and the picture advances as you scroll. Yuval Dor builds these, by hand, in Tel Aviv.
Tired of the old one?
The scene is a brass band on a French Quarter corner at nine in the morning, and the line is lettered on the head of the bass drum. Every line in this film is written into the frame the same way, before the page is ever served.
Wake up your homepage.
A cafe au lait on a marble table beside the parade, the line written in the foam. A homepage built this way reads as one image and one sentence at a time, instead of a wall of blocks.
It plays when you scroll.
Your scroll position is the playhead. Scrolling down runs the film forward, scrolling up runs it back, and it holds still wherever you stop. There is no autoplay you have to sit through, and a Play button drives it hands free if you would rather not scroll.
A site nobody forgets.
Looking up from the alley between the balconies, the line spelled out in the clouds. Six clips are scrubbed frame by frame on one canvas and dissolved into each other, so the whole thing behaves like a single continuous shot.

A green streetcar stopped across the mouth of the alley, the line on its roll sign. The imagery and the motion in this film are generated. The page around them is written by hand.
Send a brief. We'll make it work.
A teal shutter on a pink corner building, the line painted on the sign above it. To start one of these, send a brief through the contact form at yuvaldor.com, or write to mail@yuvaldor.com.
Every word on this page is inside a picture. Built by hand, no framework, no build step, no dependencies. Sits still if you asked your device for less motion.
